After the uscis approves the petition, the petition is sent to the NVC (National Visa Center). A case number is assigned by the NVC. The NVC will send a request to complete a Form DS-261 which is done on line at xxxxxxxxxxx. ONce completed the nvc will instruct you to pay the appropriate fees.
